Well-Being and Harmony in life

I’m interested in conceptualizing and measuring well-being; focusing on harmony in life, satisfaction with life, happiness and meaning in life. This interest also involves examining how we can pursue sustainable well-being: How pursuing different kinds of well-being might bring about different social and environmental consequences. The picture below shows how individuals describe their pursuit of harmony and satisfaction differently. Differentiating between Harmony and Satisfaction

Semantic Measures & Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Semantic measures approach allows individuals to answer questions freely with words that are quantified and analysed using AI (including Natural language processing and Machine learning). This approach complement traditional closed-ended rating scales as the method enables us to measure, describe and differentiate well between psychological constructs (see Figure below).

Co-founder of WordDignostics

WordDignostics is a decision support system for diagnosing psychiatric disorders in primary care and psychiatric settings. The system if based on patients’ word responses and other clinically relevant data analysed with AI. Together with Katarina Kjell, Sverker Sikström and Pontus Bodelsson, WordDiagnostics won Venture Cup’s nationwide entrepreneur prize Start up of the year 2018.
